About Me

Hi, Iā€™m Neil. I am a UX Designer motivated by fast-paced projects and innovating on quick deadlines. My background in television news was filled with fast-paced newscasts and working in many roles from camerawork to directing. I want to bring my problem-solving and level-headed work ethic to researching and prototyping to incorporate underrepresented groups in final designs.

I worked in television news at the local and national level, where I directed live newscasts in the studio and control room. During my time working in TV, I found myself always eager to work on new programming and implement efficient work practices for a clean and professional newscast. I discovered that my strengths in optimizing workflows helped to give viewers an easy to digest and quality viewing experience.

I am excited to get to know users through rich, meaningful conversations and take those insights further into the research phase. Building off that research I look forward to taking their needs and desires into account when designing prototypes to create a rich and fulfilling experience.
